2020 – Geography Field Trip
Photos from the IGCSE Geography Field Trip to Dorset’s Jurassic Coast in March 2020.
On the 10 March 2020 the IGCSE Geography group visited Lulworth Cove in the morning. This is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. They listened to a useful talk by the Rangers, about the formation of the coastal landforms in the area. Despite the windy conditions they were attentive and at the end of the session impressed the Ranger with their answers to his questions.
In the afternoon they went to Swanage Bay to complete the required fieldwork for their exams in June. It was windy and cold but despite this and a few wet feet, they were cheerful and completed the beach profiles with good humour.
