Weather perfect for Geography fieldtrip fun
On the first day of the trip, they travelled to Taunton to study urban regeneration. The students used their English speaking skills ask the public questions and collect data which they then went on to analyse as they worked into the evening.
The second day was spent in the beautiful Exmoor countryside studying the River Holford. Luckily, the weather was unusually mild for November as the students spent the day in the woods measuring different aspects of the river channel from the source to the village.
After a day of fresh air, the tired students returned to Sherborne International with a greater understanding of both physical and human environments and the knowledge to help them complete the fieldwork-related exam questions in June.
