Christmas at Sherborne International
Christmas is always an exciting time at Sherborne International – here are just some of the activities we’ve held during the lead up to the end of Autumn Term in 2018
Charity at Christmas
Christmas Card Competition
Each year Sherborne International holds an Inter-House competition to choose our official Christmas card. Donghau, one of our Year 10 students, was picked as the winner this year. His card was designed to respond to the themes of ‘Hope’ and ‘Peace’. The cards were printed and put on sale for students and staff in the School. This raised a total of £109 for our charity this year, The Friends of Yeatman Hospital.
Christmas Cake Raffle
The School also raised £110 for The Friends of Yeatman Hospital by raffling this beautiful Christmas Cake made by Nicki Cuff from our Catering Team.
A group of students visited the hospital before the end of term, to meet staff, patients, and see how their fundraising money was being spent.
Christmas Afternoon Tea
Our Catering Team also created a wonderful selection of Christmas treats for Afternoon Tea in the Dining Hall in the week before term ended. It was all very delicious, but it was the Santa Hat Cupcakes that seemed to be the favourite!
Girls’ Christmas Party
On Sunday 9th December we held our annual Christmas Party for the girls at Sherborne International, who all had a great time.
On the Tuesday 11th December, just before the term ended, students and staff from Sherborne International gathered at Sherborne School for their annual Christmas dinner.
